Final Concert – Opera for Peace Academy Paris 2023

The Opera for Peace Academy Paris 2023 concluded with a magnificent concert at the Fondation Biermans-Lapôtre with performances by all 13 Artists of the Academy, including the splendid performances by Opera for Peace Advisor Sumi Jo and Opera for Peace Ambassador Etienne Dupuis together with two of our Artists.

Opera for Peace Academy in Paris: Promoting international dialogue and peace through opera.
Thirteen emerging singers from across the globe met in Paris from April 13-20, 2023 for the second edition of the prestigious Opera for Peace Academy, supported by the European Investment Bank (EIB), its main sponsor. Hailing from Ukraine, Russia, South Africa, Italy, Armenia, Italy, the United States, Iran, and France, they were granted the opportunity to attend a week of masterclasses led by some of the greatest names on the international scene: Etienne Dupuis, Thomas Hampson, Brian Jagde, Sumi Jo, and Ailyn Pérez. This unique week was celebrated by a performance at the Tour Eiffel on April 17 and a closing concert on April 20 at the Fondation Biermans-Lapôtre – Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.
