Celebrating 3 Years of Opera for Peace Academies

This April, Opera for Peace hosted 2 extraordinary concerts at the Eiffel Tower Paris and Teatro Real Madrid (in collaboration with Crescendo), celebrating the 3 incredible Opera for Peace Academies which have been held between Rome and Paris, with preparations already underway for continued developments in Spain, the USA, and Switzerland.
 
Since 2022, under the artistic leadership of Kamal Khan and through the leadership of General Director Julia Lagahuzère and co-founder Jenna Wolfe, we have brought 60 exceptional artists together across 76 countries into the Opera for Peace family, selected from over 750 applications, helping them on their journey to becoming citizen artists and self-sufficient social entrepreneurs.
 
At Opera for Peace we believe that access to opportunity should never be a privilege: through world-class vocal training, masterclasses, performance opportunities on these prestigious stages, we create opportunities for artists across cultures and continents, united by the force of music and deep human connection, an impactful network of singers who will be role models and a source of inspiration for next generations.
