OfP Ambassador Aigul Akhmetshina x Teatro Real

In December 2025, Opera for Peace was honoured to collaborate with Teatro Real Madrid’s Crescendo Program for a powerful masterclass led by our OfP Ambassador, the extraordinary Aigul Akhmetshina. It was the second successful collaboration between Opera for Peace and Teatro Real, building on our concert in April 2025, which featured singers from both Opera for Peace as well as Teatro Real’s Crescendo Program.
 
Working closely now with young artists Yasmín Forastiero and Lucía Iglesias, accompanied by Gonzalo Villaruel Guiñazú, Aigul shared not only her professional mastery, but a profound belief in the responsibility we all carry to nurture the future of our art.
 
As Aigul expressed:
 
“Young artist programmes, collaborations, opera academies, and independent foundations matter more than ever! They are lifelines – spaces that educate, support, and raise the next generation.
