Moleskine Foundation – Creativity Revival

2nd November 2025

In October, our fantastic Art and Production Design Director Michel El Ghoul had the honour of representing Opera for Peace at Creativity Revival, proudly representing Opera for Peace as a Creative Pioneer of the Moleskine Foundation surrounded by brilliant minds and open hearts, each radiating the energy of change. It was overwhelming in the most beautiful way, a week of ideas colliding, stories unfolding, and creativity breathing freely again.

Among these moments, Michel curated the Opera for All Unconference, a space where voices from different corners of the world blended into a single harmony, a No Border Opera. Together, they wove melodies born from different languages and cultures into something new, creating a musical conversation of humanity itself. We are proud of all the participants who, at the beginning, struggled to sing a single note in tune, and by the end, were performing an entirely new piece created in just one hour.

Michel was also interviewed by the extraordinary Lwando Xaso, alongside other incredible pioneers, where they spoke about the mission of Opera for Peace and his personal journey within it. Later, he joined a panel moderated by the one and only Eliza Anyangwe, alongside the inspiring Lea Luiz de Oliveira and Katese Odile Gakire. Together, they explored what art does when words fail, and the courage it takes when expression itself becomes an act of resistance.

Our gratitude to the remarkable Moleskine Foundation team, including Elena Korzhenevich, Adama Sanneh, Marina Mussapi, Lwando Xaso, and Alessia Losa for crafting a space where imagination meets action, and creativity becomes a form of hope and true peace.
